Zurich, Switzerland - When To Go
Many folks recommend April as the best time to go to Zurich. There will still be snow on the higher peaks around, but Zurich is waking up from winter and the trees are in bloom around the lake. Summer is also a good time to visit Zurich--the August temperatures are quite pleasant, but you can expect a bit of rain at times.
Summer weather in Zurich is mild and known to be rather changeable, so be prepared. Rainfall maximums come during the June-August period in Zurich, which gets more rain than most western European cities.
