Milan Weather and Historic Climate
Milan is a leading fashion and business center in the Lombardi region of Italy. Lake Como, just to the north, is the watery playground of the Milanese.
Milan is also a prime destination for those who enjoy the fine arts. La Scala Opera House is known all over the world. You can even buy tickets online these days.
Milan can swelter in the summer, a double whammy produced by its location and the concentration and retention of heat that cement and large buildings can produce. Winters are kept from being severe by the proximity of the northern mountains, but it can be wet and foggy then.
