Samos Weather and Historic Climate
Samos is an island in the North Aegean sea off the coast of Turkey. The island is remarkably green and fertile; there's a lot of good wine grown on Samos.
Samos has warm summers and mild, wet winters. Samos is cooler in summer than other locations, so fruit trees do better here than much of the rest of Greece. Summer's etesian winds blow from the north from May to October, clearing the air. Samos is sunny; there are only 41 average cloudy days on Samos.
