Mulhouse and Alsace Weather and Historic Climate
Mulhouse is a city in France's Alsace region, just north of Basel, Switzerland.
Alsace is one of France's drier regions. This is good for the vineyards, which produce some of France's great wines.
Mulhouse, France - When To Go
Spring and summer offer great weather and flowers, which are quite noticable in the area, even in the villages of Alsace. Late summer is warm but usually not stiffling hot. As with other famous wine regions in France, Autumn is a great time to go to Mulhouse, especially if you have a car and can check out the Alsatian countryside in September and October. Between the changing lleaves and the wine harvest, fall can't be beat for country scenery.
